They don’t mix in like coloured paint can . Its conflicting and confusing and my mind instinctively shuts off and I feel nothing for moments but other moments like when I sit in the warm sun in the middle of May or when I feel the warmth of my mornings latte in the palms of my hands or when I play with friends In the autumn leaves i feel flashes like short outbursts of joy and I wonder why those feelings choose not to stay but then I think I wouldn’t survive on that type of happiness . Is too bright. Its blinding . So I guess I find contentment in the feeling of peace I find when the rain falls and I listen to it and it is quieting my thoughts and slowing my breathing and you know, those moments. I’m sorry Bendall, you’re like a fictional character tonight , where I can say to you what I feel like and its ok because my mind has made you .
